The Office Clerk is an Operations position responsible for performing clerical duties within the Transportation department; including maintaining all regulatory compliance as required by the Department of Transportation.


• Answer phones, route calls and take messages. • Process information on inventory management program • Process scan reports •Notify customers of late trucks. • Manage a high volume of paperwork and/or data in a detailed and efficient manner. • Prepare reports in support of the business. • Gather, organize and process driver daily paperwork, logs, manifest, vehicle inspection, etc. • Assist with driver calls when needed and respond to delivery associate issue; provide support for resolution. • Filing and maintain all required documents as required under Department of Transportation guidelines, i.e. driver’s license status, Medical Examination Cards, Certificate of Violations, monitor MVR status, etc. • Work effectively across departmental and organizational boundaries to align, organize, monitor and communicate all compliance initiatives. • Performs other duties as assigned.


• Two (2) years’ experience in transportation and logistics preferred. • Excellent customer service skills. • Advanced Excel and Word proficiency. • Excellent written, oral communication and presentation skills. • Strong attention to detail. • Solid organizational, analytical competencies that result in the ability to manage multiple tasks and follow instructions. • Ability to be flexible.
